Only in recent times since the spot price of Gold has passed the $800 per ounce level has the enthusiasm really began to spread.
There are you tube videos, blogs and websites springing up all over the place chocked full of various different recipes on how to turn scrap into Gold... Old,,, old computer parts have been the subject of many a home refinery, and while I don't even remotely present myself as an expert. I will however, do my best to present links below to help you find the best and simplest method that works for you.
Maybe it could be cost effective for us to refine at home??? It all depends on your tollerance for work with chemicals, time and access to the raw materials. For example... If you spend $500 on a kit and then make one troy ounce of Gold in about a day or two. This could be an income of $250 per day? Is it possible to do this? I honestly don't know,,, yet...
